		Observation Details
Observations from a trip to the slide: Adequate coverage on the skin in. Dug a quick column at ~2800ft on the slide. Snowpack depth of 65cm with ~20cm of light fluff on top of rock hard base. This was before any additional snow Sunday night. The new snow did not bond well to the base or to itself and was easily skied off on the descent. Shovel compression yielded no results as the new snow was not cohesive enough to form a slab. No evidence of any wind loading despite high winds in previous days. Skied the slide, good conditions for the winter we’ve had.
