Observation Details
On a tour up Marcy yesterday, noted heavily wind impacted snow above treeline on NE and E aspects. Drifts of hard snow 30cm or more deep observed. More common were mini cornices throughout the snowfields, which indicated the snow was deposited further downwind. Drifts were not reactive, but something to look for on similar high elevation E/NE slopes
