Observation Details
Collapsing observed on the way up, but fairly normal for a rainy day. Big surprise was a very distinct and extremely unstable weak layer at 4 - 12 inches on the Snowy Slide. Top layer releases very easy in pit tests in multiple locations. Likely the crust from last weekend is stopping today's rain and getting weakened. May consolidate overnight but uncertain.
