D1: Relatively harmless to people.
Low density sluff form the recent storm slid below the second ice flow above the waterfall pitch. Anywhere from 10-30 cm in depth, reaching the steep ice beneath it. About 30 ft wide. Moved a foot or two before it stopped entirely, triggered as I climbed the pitch.
Observation Details
Sluff was flowing off all the ice flows/waterfalls all day we were out.
