Observation Details
Wind blown but more scoured than anything. Snow was super solid and cohesive. Column took to smashing the shovel with a fist to break up.
Ice bulges exposed in the middle and base headwall all ice. Safer lines against the treeline. For anyone who hasn’t been out since it’s opened up you can see blue tape markers for the trail at the base from the trail reroute.
