Observation Details
~6 inches of low density snow overnight. High West winds throughout the night into morning. Observed wind transport on the skin up the summit ridge. Upon reaching the summit we observed multiple small natural avalanches that happened at some point early this morning. Test slopes showed shooting cracks and larger propagation (~10cm deep, ~40ft across). Snow below ~4200 ft appeared to be less wind affected - mostly dry, loose, unconsolidated snow on top of an ice base.
