ECT Result: ECTP29 @ 75 cm
-Sudden collapse of the crust layer followed by propagation across the column
-Fracture initiated at the crust layer at 75 cm. Propagation occurred through the slab above the crust, indicating effective energy transfer within the overlying snow.
With the low sensitivity , but high consequence test results, decision was made to ski anyway, with one party member on slope a time.
Skiing was wonderful with 2-3 feet of blower pow. 2 laps skied. No whomping, cracks or avalanches observed.
